Heat transfer vinyl is the go-to method for personalised names, numbers and small batch orders. No minimum, clean results and ideal for sports kits and individual customisation.
Vinyl transfer (also called heat transfer vinyl or HTV) involves cutting your design from a coloured vinyl film using a precision cutting plotter, then heat-pressing it onto the garment. The vinyl bonds permanently to the fabric using heat and pressure.
For full-colour designs, we use printed heat transfer vinyl — where your artwork is printed onto a carrier film before being cut and applied. This allows for multi-colour and gradient designs while keeping each garment individually customisable.
Your artwork is prepared as a vector cut path. For names and numbers, we typeset these directly. For full-colour designs, artwork is printed onto transfer film at high resolution.
Our precision vinyl plotter cuts your design from the chosen vinyl stock with sub-millimetre accuracy. Excess material (weeding) is removed, leaving only your design on its carrier sheet.
The vinyl is positioned on the garment and a commercial heat press applies controlled heat (150–165°C) and pressure for a precise dwell time, bonding the vinyl permanently to the fabric.
The carrier sheet is peeled away (hot or cold peel depending on vinyl type), leaving a smooth, clean transfer. Each garment is inspected before packaging and despatch.
Small logo or initials positioned over the left breast. Great for names on workwear or a compact brand logo.
Larger design printed across the full front chest area. Ideal for team logos, event designs and statement graphics.
Large back print — commonly used for player names and squad numbers on sports kits and team uniforms.
Sponsor logos, role labels or decorative elements applied to the upper sleeve of the garment.

Yes — this is one of vinyl's greatest strengths. Personalised names and numbers can be applied to each garment individually at no additional cost per variation. Simply provide a spreadsheet of names and numbers with your order.
No minimum. Vinyl transfer is the most flexible method for small and single-item orders. Whether you need one personalised t-shirt or a full 30-piece squad kit, the process and pricing are the same.
With proper care, vinyl transfers are highly durable. We recommend washing inside out at 30–40°C and avoiding ironing directly onto the vinyl. Most customers find their transfers last 30–40 washes without any peeling or cracking.
We stock a wide range of standard colours in matte and gloss finishes, plus speciality options including metallic, glitter, reflective and flock. For exact Pantone colour matching, printed HTV is the best option.
Vinyl is cut from coloured film — ideal for spot-colour designs, text and numbers. DTF is printed — better for photographic images, gradients and complex multi-colour artwork. For names and numbers on a sports kit, vinyl is usually the better choice. For a full-colour photo design, DTF wins.
